Movemint makes it easy to create and send beautiful email campaigns that perform across devices. These campaigns can be directed at any number of contacts from any parts of your Movemint events as well as external contacts. Movemint emails can be sent as transactional (strictly informative about an event update) or marketing.
Movemint emails can be created and scheduled in advance.
Organizers can send unlimited emails for free.
Information needed to send an email:
Subject: The subject line of the email.
Email Type: Transactional or marketing.
Transactional emails contain event-specific content and need-to-know updates. These differ from marketing emails, which a user can opt-out of or unsubscribe by law.
Marketing emails contain communications that are not need-to-know information about a recipient's event. These differ from transactional emails, as marketing emails can be opted out of by law. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link in the footer of the email. Examples include: CTA's to sign up for another event, discounts, or a promo for a sponsor.
To: The receivers of the email.
Send to: Select at least one audience. By default, we create audiences for participants in each of your events and series, as well as for folks who have credits in your groups. You can also send to Saved Audiences (learn more on how to save an audience).
Do not send to: Overrides receivers in "Send to" audiences.
From: The sender of the email.
Event: The email will show up in participants' inboxes as "from" this event.
Include Your Name?: If Yes, it will come from "[Name of Organizer] at [Event]."
Send Time: Time to send the email.
Send ASAP: Send the email out as soon as you're done creating it.
Set a time to send: Set a time for the email to go out to your audience based on a selected timezone.
Content: Design the content for the email. We support merge tags for first name and last name. When you select the "First Name" merge tag in the email designer, we replace that merge tag with the recipient's first name when we send them the email, which allows for greater personalization. For group credit audiences, we also support merge tags for the credit code; this allows you to send everyone in your group information about their credits.
Organizers can send a test email to any inputted email, and also save and finish their email later inCommunications Hub. If the email is then sent from this page, organizers can see that it was sent in Communications Hub.
