Where an organizer is holding an event

An event location is where an organizer is holding an event. Even locations on Movemint are important because:
They allow organizers to specify a human-readable location, e.g. "By the Starbucks on 40th"
They are used to automatically calculate sales tax on an paid event sales. To learn more about sales tax, see Sales tax policies
Your event location is set during event creation and edited in the event settings.
Seeing the Event Location
On the event page, there are two spots were athletes can see the location of the event:
Address Details: The top of the page gives shares the address details however the organizer would to describe the meetup spot.
Event Location Section: The bottom of the page shows where the event is located (if enabled) on a map along with a link to the coordinates on Google.
Updating Event Location

Organizers can update the event location after creating their event. Head over to the "Edit Event" option under the Details tab of Event Admin. There will be a section called "Location" on the page where organizers can update:
Address Search Box: Use the search box to locate a particular address or place.
Address Details: Text that will show at the top of the event page where organizers share an actual address or common landmarks or crossings (ex, "Hachiko Statue")
Show Location?: Checking this box will show the map on the event page.
