About Event Admin

Event Admin has everything an organizer needs to manage an event including details, participants, merchandise, communications, and more. Organizers can access this page from Eventsarrow-up-right or from the Event Pagearrow-up-right.

Quick Actions

Select among the icons at the top right for quick actions. Continue reading to learn more about what each option does.

View event page

The icon will open a new tab displaying the Event Page.

View event CRM

This icon will open a new tab displaying the CRM with the event and the "Event Participants" entity type pre-selected.

View Financials Dashboard

Selecting this option takes you to Financials with the event pre-selected. Here, you can see a financial summary including:

  • total amounts for registration, merchandise, donations, and revenue

  • associated payment account, and

  • Movemint Service Fee Rates applied to the event

Copy event URL to clipboard

The link to the event page will be copied to your clipboard.

Download event QR code

Clicking the option will initiate a download of an image with a unique QR code to the event page.

Edit event URL handle

Update the ending URL slug for an event page.

Editing the existing URL does not redirect the old URL to the one with the new event handle.

Create a copy of this event

Create a copy of the event with a new name and handle to save time from creating an event from scratch. Unfurling the different sections allow you to de-select aspects of the event that you would like to not carry over (ex. Sponsors, Event Admins, etc.).


Tabs

The Event Admin is organized by eight tabs bundled based on core organizer activities. The tab navigation and the various organizer activities remain visible at the top of the page as organizers move deeper into the Event Admin.

  • Insights: Learn more about additional features available for the event and get recommendations to optimize for registrations and sign-ups.

  • Event Page: Manage the content that appears on their public-facing Event Page.

  • Registration: Control how athletes register for an event.

  • Promotions: manage tools to designed to drive registrations, reward participants, and handle post-registration changes.

  • Commerce: Manage additional revenue options beyond registration.

  • Communications & Marketing: Manage communications with participants and set up and track off-platform campaigns.

  • Race Day: Provides organizers with the tools needed to manage on-the-ground operations before, during, and after the event.

  • Admins: Manage access and permissions for the event.
