How to Transfer Event Registration to Someone Else
If you can't make it to an event you signed up for and an organizer has enabled transfers, you can transfer your signup to someone else. To initiate a transfer, you need to add your signup to your Movemint profile using the confirmation number we emailed you when you signed up. At the top of your profile, you should see a text box where you can paste your confirmation number:
Once the signup is on your profile, click the three-dots icon.
If transfers are enabled and the transfer window is open, you'll see a "Transfer registration" button you can use to send your signup to someone else.
When the transfer is complete, both the outgoing athlete and the new athlete will receive confirmation emails from Movemint.
How to Transfer Between Sub-Events for an Event
If you would like to participant in a different sub-event and the organizers has enabled transfers, you can transfer your signup to another sub-event. For example, you would like to move from the half-marathon to the marathon or you would like to move from one heat to another.
To initiate a transfer, after adding the event to your Athlete profile as outlined above, click the three-dots icon on the event you would like to transfer between sub-events.
Click the "Change your sub-event" button.
Select the sub-event you would like to transfer to.
Click "Checkout" button.
