Charity Admins can manage donations to their charitable organizations for an event. Continue more reading about making the most of your organization's presence on Movemint!
One of the Full Admins of the event will send an email invite. Clicking the Accept Invite button will direct you to the event's Event Admin page confirming your role.
To receive donations, a Payment Account on Movemint is needed. Here are some steps to create a payment account for your charitable organization.
Click the Manage Payment Account button under the Donations tab in Event Admin. You will be directed to a new page called Financials.
There, click the Create Payment Account button.
Type in a name for the Payment Account.
Proceed in Stripe to create the Payment Account.
Information needed to set up include:
Professional details (website, business category, etc.)
Public details (customer support, etc.)
Personal details
Payout details (bank account to be receiving funds)
If not created already, here are some steps to create a donation category for a charitable organization.
Click the Manage Donation Categories button under the Donations tab in Event Admin.
Confirm the new donation category by clicking the Create Donation Category button.
Click the Manage Donation Categories button under the Donations tab in Event Admin.
Click Edit for the donation category to be updated.
Update information about the donation category, including: donation goal, payment account, external links, and imagery like organization's logo and carousel photos.
The donation category pages can be viewed on the event page under the Donate section.
Click the Donate button to see the donation category page.
