Pricing at Movemint is straightforward and transparent

Cost to organizers Movemint doesn't charge organizers anything for free or paid events.

Paid events and merchandise Movemint makes money by adding an affordable service fee to paid transactions. We charge 7.5% + $1 per checkout. By default, we pass our service fee to participants, but we can instead take if from the organizer's proceeds if that's your preference. That means that if you charge $50 for your event, you always receive $50 for each participant.

Movemint operates globally and accepts all currencies supported by Stripe.

Optional features that increase Movemint's service fee setting up paid events in the US, organizers can choose if they want SMS texting and/or event cancellation insurance. If you opt out of SMS texting, we remove 1% from our service fee. For organizer that opt into event cancellation insurance, we add 3% to our service fee.

For international events, Movemint adds 2.5% to convert currency. E.g. if you have a US-based business and you're holding an event in Mexico City, we can accept Pesos from participants and convert to USD to pay you out.

Donations We charge 5% for donations. For donations made without paid event registrations or merchandise, we add $1.
