Referrals

Enable and manage your event's referral program.

The Referrals feature in Movemint enables event organizers to incentivize participant growth by offering discounts to new registrants and refunds to those who refer them.

Example Active Referral Codes in Event Admin

Organizers can enable Referrals for any of their events via the Participants tab in Event Admin. Once active, participants can get unique referral links and share them to promote your event, earning a refund when someone registers using their link.

How Referrals Work

Organizer Sets Referral Policy

In Referrals under the Participants tab of Event Admin, organizers can set their referral policy.

To set a referral policy, amounts are need for:

• Discount for the Refer-ee: Amount dedicated from the registration price for the newly registered participant.

• Refund for Referrer: Amount refunded to the referring registered participant when a referral is successful.

Referrer Receives Referral Link

After registering, participants receive a unique referral link.

Refer-ee Uses Referral Link to Register

When a new participant registers using the referral link:

• The discount is automatically applied on the registration page.

• Once registration is confirmed, the referrer receives the refund to their original payment method or as specified in your policy.
