Event Status

Configure who can see your event page.

Use Event Status to control whether an event is visible on the platform and who can access it.

Where to change an event’s status

  1. In the left panel, click Events.

  2. See the status column in the list of events

  1. Click any event to open the Event Adminarrow-up-right.

  2. Then use the drop-down next to the event title at the top of the page to choose a status.

Available statuses (and what they do)

Live

  • The event is visible to everybody.

  • The event is searchable on the Movement platform.

  • Registration is open to anyone who wants to sign up.

Draft

  • Best if you are still working on the event.

  • The event is only visible to owners and admins.

  • The event is not searchable to the general public.

Unlisted

  • The event is hidden from the public.

  • It is not searchable on the platform.

  • It is only accessible via a direct link.

  • Useful when you want to open registration to a select group and share the registration page link before opening it to everyone.

Landing Page

  • Use this when you are still working out event details and you are not ready to launch registration yet.

  • It functions as a “coming soon” page.

  • It includes an email signup, so people can register interest and you can notify them when the event or registration opens.

To view your event landing page, open it in an incognito/private window or while logged out. If you are logged in as an owner or admin, you will see the registration page instead. Non-admin users will see the landing page normally.
