If enabled by the organizer of an event, athletes can add protection to their registration. This add-on will show right before check out after athletes have added their participant information for an event.

Opting In of Registration Protection
To opt-in, click "Continue to Checkout" without opting out of the registration protection.
Opting Out of Registration Protection
To opt-out of the registration protection, select following option:
"Downgrade your experience to no refunds and no exchanges for any reason."
Removing Registration Protection
Participants can remove their registration protection through a email from Protecht with the subject line: "Refund Protection Order Confirmation & Important Information." This email was sent after participants registered for their event and purchased registration protection.
From that email, there should be a link to cancel the registration protection. If you cannot find or no longer have access to that email, contact [email protected].
Requesting a Refund Using Registration Protection
Participants can request a refund using their registration protection through a email from Protecht with the subject line: "Refund Protection Order Confirmation & Important Information." This email was sent after participants registered for their event and purchased registration protection.
From that email, there should be a link to request a refund. If you cannot find or no longer have access to that email, contact [email protected].
