About Gift Cards
Gift Cards make it easy to give the gift of event registration. Once enabled by a Group Admin, athletes can purchase gift cards from a Group page which can be redeemed across any event associated with that group. Gift cards are a great option for holidays, birthdays, team gifts, or anyone who wants flexibility when registering for events.
Key things to know:
Gift cards apply to all events within a specific group.
Both the purchaser and recipient receive confirmation emails.
Gift cards can be used to pay for part or all of an event registration.
Gift card codes are entered during checkout, alongside discounts and credits.
How to Set Up as a Group Admin
Group admins control whether gift cards are available for their events.
To enable gift cards, go to Group Adminand select Enabled 🎁 in the dropdown for the Gift Card Status box.
Once enabled, gift cards will automatically apply to all events under your group. No additional setup is required for individual events.
How to Purchase a Gift Card
Go to a Group page on Movemint
Click the 🎁 Purchase Gift Card button
Fill out the form with the Gift Card Amount, your information, and the recipient information.
Click the Purchase button and complete the checkout on Stripe. Once completed you will land on a confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email.
How to Use a Gift Card
Complete the participant information form for the event that you want to register
Copy the Gift Card code from the Gift Card Recipient Confirmation email.
Paste the code in the Gift Card code box then click apply to validate the code.
Click the Checkout button to proceed to the checkout page on Stripe to pay the difference or confirm the transaction.
